SREE Hotels, LLC was founded in 1980 as SREE Inc by Ravi and Chandra Patel, when they bought a rundown independent hotel in Florence, SC and repositioned it to an EconoLodge franchised hotel.

After several other profitable repositioning projects, SREE ventured into a ground up development strategy that still exists today. Beginning with the construction of a Comfort Inn in Florence, SC, SREE Hotels has continued its portfolio growth with timely and strategic development.

In the mid 1990’s SREE Hotels expansion mode led to a partnership with Marriott and Hilton. Starting with the development of the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Kannapolis, NC, SREE Hotels currently owns or operates 16 select service hotels franchised under Marriott’ Courtyard, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, Fairfield Inn and TownePlace Suites brands.

The partnership with Hilton Hotels started with the development of the Hampton Inn – Monroe, NC and today it includes a Hilton Garden Inn and the first full service hotel in the portfolio, the Hilton Charlotte Executive Park, NC. From its first hotel in 1980, SREE has experienced steady and strategic growth.

Today the portfolio includes 30 hotels in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and California, franchised with Marriott International, Hilton Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels and Choice Hotels.
